Hi.

I like the game.

Is there an art to killing the spiders? Sometimes I spray them and they die and sometimes they don't. It can be frustrating.

The first few times I played it, I found the new can of spray but since then I never see it? Does it appear in a select number of places or is it random over the entire basement? Does it only appear when the current can is nearly empty?

You can walk through the doors of the garage to 'outside'.

Hi Dobsy,

I think the "collision cone" for the fire is shorter than the visual effect, so you have to let the spiders get closer in order to kill them. I am currently updating the game and will be fixing this.

There are 11 different places that a refill can appear, there will always be one can in the level. As soon as you pick it up another one will spawn. A random spawn point is chosen by the game from the 11 possible. My strategy is to look around until I find the can, then hold out at that location until it I'm nearly empty. Refill and go looking for the next one.

Thanks for telling me about the garage door. I didn't notice that! I will add that to my list of things to fix.

And thanks for playing the game! Do you mind if I ask what headset your playing on and what you movement preferences are?

Hi,

Sorry, just seen your reply. I managed to figure out that I was spraying the can too high above the lighter. The spray is white when that happens but turns blue if it's held lower. It was driving me mad as it worked sometimes but not others. Having figured that out I managed to survive for 5 minutes and get out!

As for the refill cans, after one appeared on the van during a game I knew what I was looking for. On hindsight I should have realised they looked the same as the can in my hand! After a few plays I did use the same tactic you mention - stay next to a refill until you need it and then go looking for the next one. If anything, I now think you should have less spray in the cans to make it more difficult and/or make the lighter go out more (that made it more creepy).

I'm playing on an Oculus Quest2. I prefer free movement rather than teleport.
